However I begin to read a bunch of horror stories about people who spent years visiting guard/reserve units, never getting hired and turning 30 thus becoming to old. I began researching online the best way to become a pilot and everything pointed to the Air National Guard or Reserve. Then sometime in 2014 while watching The Right Stuff I released I really want to be a pilot. I was a C student in high school and kind of told myself I could never be a pilot.
I graduated high school in 2010, I worked full time for 4 and a half years at a number of jobs. This is a bit of a long story so when I decided to go back to college in 2015 I did so with the goal of becoming a Pilot in the Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve.
